Young people often enter “the real world” without any essential life skills.
This includes:
critical thinking and the adoption of feedback
nutrition, fitness and mindfulness awareness
emotional intelligence and stress management
financial knowledge and the ability to budget
And this is just the tip of the iceberg.
Schools are a great place to discover interests, hobbies and friends, but they are frequently not designed in a way that promotes continuous learning, growth mindset and adaptability.
