Some people learn by observing others do the job or by watching step-by-step videos that explain how to approach a new skill.

Other people prefer to read guides and books dedicated to research from multiple sources, because they want to understand how it all connects.

There’s a third kind of people that bravely follows Nike’s principle β€œJust do it” – they learn by continuously failing, missing the mark and advancing from their mistakes.

There’s also a fourth kind of people who go out and ask for help when forming a new habit. Their method of learning is through continuous communication and shared planning.

Then there’s the fifth kind of people who join courses and pursue degrees, because they want to learn from the experts and receive proof of completion, which they can rely on as they push forward with their careers.

The point is that there are numerous ways you can learn and some ways will feel more natural to you than others. Understanding what gets you excited about learning is the best way to commit to your growth, because when you’re excited about something you will continue to show up for it (despite distractions and circumstances).
