We all have a tendency to jump to conclusions before we know all the details, because it helps us to quickly redirect our attention and continue scanning our environment for more information.
This becomes a problem when we start to perceive our conclusions as facts.
But people’s observations of you can be useful, whether they are spot on or nowhere near the truth. They can give you an idea of the kind of first (or even long-lasting) impression you give off intentionally or unintentionally.
