We start to complain when we’re out of balance: either emotionally, mentally or energetically.
When we complain, we are not really living in the present moment. We are reacting to it. The heart is probably processing some complicated & completely unrelated emotions in the meantime.
When we complain, we take things personally. We cannot zoom out and view the bigger picture. The mind is most likely already occupied with something else.
When we complain, we are often mirroring what others around us have said repeatedly. This is the brain working on autopilot to preserve energy.
If you find yourself complaining about something, try to understand where you’re lacking balance.
If you find yourself complaining about someone, can you spot the similarities between their behaviour and something you’d like to change about yourself?
The moment we start to complain is also the moment when we can change a pattern, first within us and then outside in the external world.
