There are many fears we all eventually face in life, whether they’re rational or irrational.
But when it comes to our self-growth and relationships with others, there are two main types of fear that block us from truly enjoying the journey:
Fear of failure
Fear of success
The fear of failure is really the fear of being vulnerable. We don’t want to risk getting misunderstood or rejected by sharing our most sincere desires, dreams or goals – even if the prize is worth it!
The fear of success is really the fear of change. The process of succeeding in a pursuit means a new beginning – and a change of your status quo can impact friendships, family situation, contracts, lifestyle, habits, and the list goes on.
But if you don’t try, how can you know what’s going to happen? The answer is you don’t.
The more you allow yourself to live, the more you discover what life has to offer.
