The person who can master their daily actions is the person who can achieve anything. If only the rest of the world didn’t exist!
When you set out to achieve anything, there will be interruptions, distractions, delays, emotional lows and highs, individual and shared achievements, celebrations – it’s all part of the experience.
Self-discipline is learning to trust yourself and stay committed to yourself in a world that’s constantly trying to get your attention away from what matters the most to you.
Self-discipline is also learning to recognise when giving your attention to other people and other people’s pursuits is actually beneficial to your growth.
Self-discipline helps you become a more balanced version of yourself.
If you’re struggling with self-discipline at the moment, write down everything that you are focusing on – you might be trying to give your attention to too many priorities.
