As you already know, we are energetic beings. Everything is energy and so are we.
But did you know that the lowest level of energy you can be in is shame?
Shame is an expression of self-rejection.
If you consistently feel shame about aspects of yourself (external or internal), you not only develop a negative image about yourself, but over time a deeply rooted sense of self-hatred is formed.
The more you talk or think negatively about yourself, the stronger the roots of this self-hatred become. This in turn makes it more difficult to raise your frequency to the level of acceptance, love, joy and peace.
Why?
Because the invisible roots you have created by repeating self-damaging thoughts are now part of your belief system.
This is the point where “shadow work” comes into play where you dig deep and figure out what first caused you to think negatively about yourself in order to “uproot” the self-destroying beliefs for good and replace them with ones that help you blossom into a better version continuously.
