Just like time, energy is a precious human resource.
When you run out of energy, even if you’ve got all the time in the world (which you don't!), you won’t be able to make much use of it – or a great use of it.
Protecting your energy starts with your values and priorities.
When you know your values and get clear on your current life priorities, you can determine better which person or opportunity deserves a YES and which ones need to be declined.
People value your energy to the extend that you value your energy. If you’re willing to ignore your needs, others will be willing to ignore your needs too. Remember that the world is a mirror! 🪞
When in doubt about a person or a situation, ask yourself: “Am I trying to kill time, or invest my time?”
The answer will show you what’s going to happen to your energy.
