Burnout can vary from being distracted and irritable to feeling completely overwhelmed and exhausted.
Simply put, burnout is the result of giving priority to tasks that weren’t essential for your survival, even if your brain tricked you into believing that they were, for longer than you were supposed to!
And once you reach the climax of your burnout, the only thing you can (try to) do is rest your mind.
As Wiliam James put it, “The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another.”
