Our triggers feel painful but if we can overcome the initial pain of looking within to discover what’s causing the suffering, we grow into a more advanced version of ourselves.
The things you get defensive about are where you’ll find your limiting beliefs: what’s truly preventing you from openly giving and receiving, from being your most authentic self.
Defensiveness suggests that you don’t feel safe to express something about yourself.
One way to empower yourself to shift your defensiveness into surrender is to wholeheartedly trust yourself. That’s it!
