Do you have to-do lists that are multiplying faster than you can even process them? Is your inbox overflowing with unread (spam) messages? How long can you stay in the present moment without being tempted to check on social media, Slack or the news?

Sometimes the thing that’s holding us back is our own mind.

We believe we should respond as fast as we can, commit to as much as we can, attend as many meetings as possible, and the list goes on…

Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should do it.

No, this is not an encouragement to procrastinate, stop learning or be rude to others.

This is an invitation to check in with yourself.

This is a a reminder that you get to decide what you want to do (with your life) and what you don’t want to do (as part of your daily routine).

Setting the right boundaries with others means honouring your sense of direction.

Saving time from doing the unimportant tasks first will not only help you progress with the important stuff, but it will assist you in being an excellent team player while preserving your sense of direction.
