Do you do something that makes you happy every day? Or do you spend your days being happy with whatever you’re doing?
It’s a subtle mindset shift, but it makes all the difference.
When we attribute happiness to actions, experiences or items outside of us, we reject our ability to be happy on our own.
Sure, some activities boost our happiness levels, but ultimately we have access to happiness at all times, because we are the true source of it.
It is when we spend too much time doing things that steal from our happiness – that are not in alignment with who we are – that we feel empty or depleted, and start to seek happiness outside of us as a permanent solution.
