In a philosophical sense, every day.
Biologically speaking, every day.
When it comes to our physical appearance, every day.
In the way we perceive the world, mostly every day.
Emotionally? We can be stubborn.
Emotions, just like thoughts, give us clues all the time. They show us what we need, what we fear, what we want, what we seek to become.
But we tend to ignore our emotions a lot more than we ignore our thoughts.
Why?
Thoughts, even when they are illogical, start to make sense over time. But our own emotions puzzle us beyond belief.
And this is what we’re getting wrong…
Emotions are not to be understood – they are to be experienced. Once you feel them, you can release them and not be defined or restricted by them.
Thoughts, on the other hand, are not to be believed, certainly not all of them – they are there to be observed.
When you become a conscious observer of what’s going on in your mind, you will be more in control of the actions that you take based on those thoughts.
