We meet so many people in a single lifetime. Most of them can teach us something if we are willing to learn, and this goes both ways. We all have stories to tell, lessons to teach and love to share as long as we’re open for the exchange.
When we live consciously, we are able to both appreciate the people around us and show them who we truly are without fear or shame.
It is when we connect with one another without wearing masks* that we change for the better, because we encourage each other to embrace our unique individuality and in doing so we return to our authentic self.
Who are the people in your life that have changed you for the better? And whose lives have you changed for the better?
*The ego insists we wear masks, so that we appear as what we believe other people would approve of, so that we can belong with others or in society. Wearing ego masks results in presenting a false self to the world, which in the long run leads to building inauthentic relationships.
