There are many books written about what it means to be a leader. But until you step into the role of a leader in your own life, the role remains open to interpretation.
To lead is to accept the responsibility of setting an example.
To lead is to care about others and take care of them, even if they can’t see the big picture.
To lead is to be firm but generous, fair but kind, forgiving but with boundaries.
To lead is a multifaceted verb.
The one thing all great leaders have in common is that they inspire a change for the better. They not only take charge of the situation, but they shift the status quo in a way that benefits others by uplifting their spirit to do better every day.
Not all leaders are great leaders. But the leaders that lead from the heart are all bound to be great leaders.
