We are encouraged to practice gratitude as a way to connect deeper with ourselves, the world around us and the present moment.
But what happens when we practice gratitude with other people?
We are able to further expand our ability to love, appreciate, and relate to one another.
Compliments, whether based on physical appearance, tangible results or a set of skills, are a great way of uplifting someone else’s spirit while boosting our own sense of awe.
And what happens when we consciously live in a state of awe?
We start to discover even more reasons to feel joy and share that joy with others.
More importantly, once our differences no longer divide us, we begin to learn from each other and honour our unique perspectives with greater understanding.
