Most compelling stories we tell are driven by the Ego. Whenever the Ego tells a story, there’s always a villain.

The villain could be time, money, energy. It can be a person – your boss, your neighbour, your parents. It can be a place – where you live or shop, or even where you travel back to in your memories.

Here’s what you get when you google the word villain: “a character whose evil actions or motives are important to the plot”.

Everything you experience is important for your character development. Every “villain” that you can recognise in your life is actually an opportunity for your growth.

Whether you choose to be a victim or a hero, that’s entirely up to you.
