Death isn’t the only cause for grief.

The loss of anything that was meaningful to you triggers the process of grieving to happen – this could be the loss of a job, a project, a friendship, a relationship, a place, or any big life change.

Whether you allow yourself to actually grieve and let go of the energetic connections to what was lost, however, is entirely up to you. But the only way to truly free your energy from the past, so that you can invest it in the present moment, is to go through the storm of emotions.

Remember the quote “'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”?

Life is for living – that is, living in the present moment. Grieving allows us to part with the past memories with love, gratitude and forgiveness, so that our story can continue to unfold.
