We set the limitations of our everyday experience.

Sometimes fear protects us, like if you’re walking late at night or if you’re in the middle of a forest and you hear a noise that sounds suspicious. This is the body giving you signals to stay alert, because danger might actually be around you.

Other times fear comes as a trauma response.

When we experience deep disappointment and pain at an early age, we tend to lock it deep within us as we are unable to process it properly (unless we have an emotionally mature parent who can help us work through the heavy emotions).

Once we’re adults, however, any time we are close to a situation that might bring the same pain we experienced in the past, we get triggered into feeling the original emotion, even if it doesn’t make sense why at the time.

This might come as:

  • Fear of failure

  • Fear of rejection

  • Fear of mistakes

  • Fear of abandonment

But often fear is a product of our intrusive, repetitive thoughts. There’s no real danger to us, just the ego that is trying hard to keep us the same for as long as it can.

“What if I fail?”

“What if they laugh?”

“What if this was all for nothing?”

What if you tried something new and you had a lot of fun? What if you listened to your heart and it led you to something amazing? What if you think of all the challenges you’ve had to face as growth lessons that were preparing you for the success you desire?

Whatever your fears might be, there’s always a way to rise above them when you recognise your own power.

DREAM BIG

Whether it’s a childhood dream or a brand new goal you have in mind, there’s always a way to get in alignment with the person who can bring that vision into reality.

A beginner’s mindset will help you be more flexible as you navigate through the new lessons.

Instead of worrying about “What’s the worst that could happen?”, picture “What’s the best that could happen?” and allow yourself to dream big.
