Live long enough and you’ll experience all kinds of seasons – those of recognition and rejection, of ambition and regret, of resilience and defeat, of love and disappointments, of abundance and trauma, of being a hero and being a victim.
There’s a duality in life that cannot be avoided. Some situations will bring the victim mindset in us and it’s precisely those situations that teach us the most about what we can do better, so that we can take more accountability for our own behaviour.
Everyone has the ability to flip the switch of their story as long as they’re not too attached to it.
Remember that your life narrative continues to be written for as long as you’re alive. It’s never too late to be the hero or heroine of your story – to be the person that you needed growing up perhaps? Or to be more like the people that inspire you to be and do better!
