Sometimes the biggest secrets we keep from others are our innermost desires and dreams.
Other times they are the traumas and worries that keep us awake at night.
There might be thoughts, feelings or actions that we’re not proud of that we carry with us like heavy burdens wherever we go.
Whatever your secrets may be, I assure you that there are hundreds and thousands of people out there in the world that can relate to your stories.
It’s human to make mistakes, have dreams, fall in love, go on adventures, think differently, take risks, you name it!
It’s OK to have secrets from others, as long as you’re able to sit peacefully and face every aspect of yourself with self-love and understanding.
As Tina Gilbertson writes, “The problem with keeping secrets is that you actually need to know the things you’re trying not to know.”
