#7
Each week brings us opportunities to practice what we’ve learned and to step outside of our comfort zone and embrace new knowledge.
What’s one thing you’ll take away from your experiences this week and turn it into a life lesson?
Every experience we go through teaches us something new about ourselves, the world or the people in our life.
Just because you practice the same routines every day doesn’t mean that you’re the same person. The more you practice, in fact, the more you’re becoming the next version of yourself. But because you spend all the time with yourself, you cannot fully see the changes happening within you and in the physical world.
If what you’re committed to is designed to make you or the world better, change will come. You just have to show up and do the work every day.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned this week – rest is as important as being present. Without proper rest, you cannot be fully present. And if you cannot be fully present, then you’re not really living to your fullest potential.
Here’s what we covered in BIG TALK this week:
Invest in yourself. Life’s too short to follow someone else’s idea of balance, success and happiness.
Self-care is your number one priority. You can’t give to the world if your own cup’s empty.
Be a generous giver of love. You simply need to look within to find it at all times.
Peak performance is the path to growth. Get to know your strengths and weaknesses, so you can rise above your circumstances.
Are you making your 18-year-old self proud? Reflection costs you nothing and it gives you the power to see things in a new light.
Adventure is movement. Adopt an adventure mindset as often as possible to feel the joy of being alive.
