10 Things That Happen When You Stop Drinking Alcohol

Spoiler alert: Alcohol is poison ☠️

In my university years, I would be the only person to go out and give my all on the dance floor as everyone around me was queuing to buy shots.

In the beginning of my career, I would not be as eager to be on the dance floor, instead I’d explore the cocktail menu and engage in conversations with those around me.

And then came the point of my career called “peer bonding outside of work hours”, where I’d find myself in the pub with colleagues talking about nothing of importance in particular drinking nothing of importance in particular, 100% enmeshed in the habit of socially drinking to blow off some steam.

Alcohol is embedded in our culture and it’s easy to get lost in it: the social habit of bonding over a drink.

But when does it stop? After the first drink, the first shot, or when the party’s over and you’re trying to find a bar that’s still open?

Alcohol is destroying us — socially, culturally, morally, emotionally, spiritually and physically speaking. But we don’t realise it when we’re still under the influence, even if we’re just casual drinkers.

Here are 10 things that happen to you when you stop drinking alcohol.

1. ENERGY BOOST

The first major difference you’ll notice when you stop drinking alcohol is the amount of energy that you’re capable of!

Here’s what the fancy ads you see on TV and across social media won’t tell you: Frequent alcohol consumption robs you of your energy.

Drinking wine, beer, or hard liquor during the day can make you feel drowsy or lethargic. (Source)

What happens when you don’t have energy? Not much.

That’s what the Elites would like you to continue doing. Nothing.

As long as we continue to suppress our emotions and block our own growth, we will bring no change to the status quo.

The power’s in your hands, but you’re too busy holding your drink to recognise it.

2. HEALTHIER EATING HABITS

Health is the biggest wealth, to quote Ralph Waldo Emerson.

The more your body gets used to “not craving alcohol”, the more you’ll notice your eating habits changing for the better.

Alcoholic beverages are an absolute waste when it comes to providing nutrition. The calories found in alcohol are empty calories, which the body cannot use for producing energy. Your liver is forced to break down the alcohol into fatty acids, which get accumulated in the liver. Excessive exposure to alcohol causes the death of liver and brain cells. (Source)

When you no longer connect meals to a glass of wine or a pint of beer, you begin to “hear” what your body actually needs: whether you’re in need of vitamins, fibers, protein, and so on.

Yes, the body can communicate with you and guide you to what you need to supply it with next: whether it’s your body or your Higher Self doing the communication, I’ll leave the interpretation to you.

3. CHANGE IN LIFESTYLE

Once you stop drinking, you’ll recognise certain people in your life as connections you formed to preserve the habit of drinking.

Your “drinking buddies” came with the lifestyle of drinking alcohol and wasting time, because let’s face it:

  1. Alcohol has zero nutritional benefits

  2. Alcohol is like poison to the body and mind

  3. Alcohol contributes to a lot of the crimes you see reported on TV and in mass media

  4. Alcohol messes with your natural hormones and the state of your immune system

  5. Alcohol can contribute to memory loss and how your brain functions

Need I say more? Maybe.

When you stop drinking alcohol, trips to the pub and local bars are replaced with walks, exercise and adventure in nature.

When you stop drinking, you begin to notice the trees, the flowers, the bees, the animals, the buildings, the infrastructure that may help us channel many ideas into our world but an infrastructure that ultimately keeps us trapped indoors for way too long— away from the sea, away from the forest, away from the sun, away from life.

4. MONEY REDISTRIBUTION

Alcohol is a big waste of money! When you’re no longer wasting money on alcohol, whether that’s alcohol in your:

  • weekly shopping

  • monthly social gatherings

  • big party celebrations

You discover that “the investment” in alcohol is really no investment at all.

If anything, the production of alcohol today is designed to get you to waste both your time and money — and, of course, energy.

You’re, of course, more likely to make “bad” purchasing decisions under the influence of alcohol and waste more time, money and energy as a consequence.

And ask yourself: why are you conditioned to connect “party time” and “celebrations” with alcohol? Why are you conditioned to connect all the best moments of your life with the 1 drink that has the power to ruin them the most?

5. MEMORY AND FOCUS IMPROVEMENT

People often drink to forget about their problems. The trouble is they forget a lot more than their problems!

Memory loss is not the only issue with frequent alcohol consumption.

Alcohol can damage your brain. Brain damage affects your: behaviour, memory, ability to learn. (Source)

Alcohol consumption is linked to both memory loss and focus issues, so it should come as no surprise that when you remove alcohol from your lifestyle, you experience improvements to your cognitive skills.

6. HEALTHIER CONNECTIONS

The people you bond with in your sober years will be completely different to the people you had around you in your booze years. This has to do with the level of understanding, bonding and relating to one another.

Yes, as we mature, some relationships will mature too — others will remain a chapter of the past.

The relationships you formed during your years of alcohol consumption were probably “trauma-based connections”, since every person we meet in the School of Life is a teacher to help us heal our childhood wounds and ascend to our full potential.

Don’t forget that we are all spiritual beings having a human experience on Earth. We came here to learn, grow, change, create and love!

As you say goodbye to alcohol, you will also say goodbye to connections you formed during the years you were acting out your traumas or operating from a wounded place: connections with people who are not yet ready to give up on the lifestyle that comes from refusing to do the inner work of self-healing.

7. SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

When you stop drinking alcohol, you begin to see the world in a different light.

For one, you discover that much of the problems we face today can be solved if people stopped drinking alcohol.

Ever wondered why the entertainment industry has made such a big deal about AA: Alcoholics Anonymous, when, in fact, most of the world’s population is an alcoholic by now.

To be sober is the exception to the general rule of “drowning your sorrows in alcohol”.

The real question is why is there so much “good press” about launching new alcoholic beverages and what’s the real strategy.

Spoiler alert: they’re after the kids.

Why?

Kids are the future. They bring the new wave of ideas and thinking. If the governments around the world can corrupt you from your childhood, you are less likely to achieve what you came here to do and release your full potential.

8. SLEEP IMPROVEMENTS

Alcohol messes up with your hormones, gut health and brain abilities.

What does that mean for your body?

Fatigue, confusion, brain fog, sleep disruption.

Drinking too much can disrupt normal sleeping patterns and cause insomnia and lack of restful sleep. This in turn can make you feel stressed and anxious. (Source)

But this is not limited to “drinking too much”. Even the occasional drink can have detrimental effects to your overall health & wellbeing.

Several hours after that nightcap, the alcohol raises the body’s level of epinephrine, a stress hormone that increases the heart rate and generally stimulates the body, which can result in nighttime awakenings. Indeed, alcohol may account for 10% of cases of persistent insomnia. Alcohol also relaxes throat muscles, and this relaxation can worsen sleep-related breathing problems and contribute to sleep apnea. (Source)

The Third World War is not going to be with weapons. It’s a war for our minds, whether or not we can escape the traps designed to keep us asleep: to the truth, to our potential, to the many dangers of the current society.

9. MENTAL HEALTH

And the Third World War has already begun. We’re in the middle of the Spiritual Warfare — simply look at all the mental health issues we’re facing. They are not random.

Just like mental health is the second health after our physical health, gut is often labeled as the second brain in our operational system. It’s all linked and maintaining one while ignoring the other will always lead to the same outcome: illness.

We are not sick, we are reacting to a sick society. That’s the best way to describe what’s going on in the world today.

Alcohol is not helping us heal. It’s destroying our health further.

Alcohol is linked to mental health problems including: depression, anxiety, risk-taking behaviour, personality disorders, schizophrenia, suicide. (Source)

Alcohol keeps us distracted.

Alcohol makes us weaker, more suitable for attacks (mentally, emotionally and physically), more likely to embrace the subliminal messages we’re exposed to 24/7 as the truth and obey the “rules” of the Elites without questioning their logic.

Don’t be fooled by the marketing humour, the pretty labels and the product positioning in expensive adverts: alcohol is poison.

10. GREATER SENSE OF PURPOSE

Children are the future and children need us to be in good health to welcome them into the world, raise them in healthy ways and support them as they innovate beyond the current limitations.

Children need us sober — now more than ever.

Every choice you make has a consequence.

You might think a beer in the pub won’t hurt anyone and while that may be true, do you think you can control your responses and actions after 5 beers?

Wake up.

You might think a cocktail in the bar won’t hurt anyone and while that may be true, do you think you can defend yourself against someone with ill intentions who will not hesitate to attack you for money or fame or just for the fun of it?

Wake up.

You might think a drink with friends won’t hurt anyone and while that may be true, there are multiple governments counting on you to take that drink, so that they can continue to control us with unreasonable legislations and legal restrictions that baffle the mind. Your mind. A mind that’s under the influence, under the spell of today’s spiritual warfare, under the illusion that “Everything the government does is for my own good, because the government cares.

Wake up.

The government cares about money. Keeping you addicted to alcohol brings a huge profit. Your addiction means you cannot see the children abducted, the children abused, the children destroyed before your eyes. Your addiction is profitable.

Wake up.

Children need us sober — now more than ever.

NEW EARTH ORDER 🌍

You might have heard of the NEW WORLD ORDER that global leaders are talking about in major forums concerning the future of society as we know it.

But there’s another order that is currently being downloaded into the consciousness of every person who’s on the spiritual ascension path: the NEW EARTH ORDER.

The New Earth Order’s key aim is to restore the balance between the Natural and the Material world by bringing balance between the Game of Life and the School of Life.

This NEW EARTH we’re building is one where we are creating positive change on a societal level, so that we can start to welcome children without inflicting further unnecessary pain and trauma – it serves no purpose beyond torture to their souls, our souls, everyone’s souls.

Today’s world is far too corrupted and it’s time for change.

It’s time for positive change!
