DAY 9

Courage

Courage is an essential ingredient to a fulfilling life. The good news is that — like most skills — courage only requires practice to master it over time.

We all had to learn how to walk at one point: one foot at a time, with lots of support from the couch or our parents, and the occasional falls. Who says you need to be a pro at something to give it a go?!

It’s never too late to try something you’ve always wanted to do! It’s okay to start with baby steps.

Your challenge today is to try something new and out of your comfort zone.

For example, you can book a rock climbing class if you’re scared of heights, or go to a dance class if you’re afraid of publicly displaying your moves. Interested in more creative pursuits? Why don’t you go to an open mic night and share your work, or publish the work that you’d normally do as a hobby.

The aim: when we give in to fear, we forget to look for opportunities for growth and excitement in the present moment — do things differently today!
